Dissatisfaction = Encouragement

Sometimes in life, we face discouragement or dissatisfaction from senior, lecturer, colleagues, friends and most importantly, our BOSS. Sometimes we put a high hope on completing some task and hoping or ensured that we will get a better praise or encouragement from someone, but it turns out to be fatal. We were not praise or receiving better compliment but being discouraged and put down. That makes us really sad and discourage.

Now, in this kind of situation, we can break down to several parts in terms of understanding the problem or situation.

• Unlikely and foolish act
• What is actually happens?
• What should you be doing then?

How should we be reacting to this situation when your lecturer, senior, boss or friend tells you that you are not doing really good enough or dissatisfy with your work?

Unlikely and foolish act

Some people tent to being influenced by this situation and act according to the feeling. They tent to give up and behave foolish such as giving up everything and show ignorance in their attitude. They think negatively and go around and talk bad things about those who rejected him/her.

Now, by doing this it doesn’t make someone become better, because the more you talk and think negatively the more you will become worse and more influence by this feeling. At the end you give up everything and keep on saying and thinking

“ WHY SHOULD I BE BETTER, NO MATTER HOW I DO, THEY WILL STILL SAY I’M BAD, BE IT LAH…… BAD THEN BAD LAH . . . WHO CARES . . .. “

Then you tent to brain washed yourself, until everything that the person does is BAD to you, then you hate that person more and more until it has no space to cure.

Why am I saying this is a false reaction, because you are a TRUE loser. Imagine, when your lecturer reject your work or disagree with your performance which mean you are a loser or failure right from the first place, rite? Then you act ignorance and act childish by giving up everything, act not naughty or “SAMSENG”. That makes you 2^nd time loser, rite? Then you fail your subject or getting low marks, 3^rd time loser. Then you at end you get poor result in your report card, 4^th time loser and at the end when you go to work, your employee rejects you because of your poor result, that makes you the 5^th and the biggest loser in your life and career.

So think for yourself, by acting foolishly, what do you gain from that? Just because your lecturer rejects you or disagrees with you few times, you behave like GANGSTER and give up everything. Now, let me tell you, NO ONE will look at the side and the REAL meaning inside you that makes you want to behave like this. NO ONE knows your actual and details of WHY YOU BECOME LIKE THIS, or GIVE UP YOUR WORK. NO……………if you think that acting like this will make people aware of you and pity you, then you are 10000000% wrong. To your personal friends, MAYBE ok, because you have more time to spend with them and share with them, maybe they’ll know the details why you behave ignorance. But to lecturer or boss, they don’t and never ever will look at that part. WHY? Here it goes…….

For professionals, when you don’t do your job means you don’t do your job. That’s it, PLEASE avoid this from happening again and do it better in the future. That’s it, nothing more. This is lecturers and bosses’ concept, unless you produce MC or a very valid reason to prove that why you cannot complete your job, then could be excused. Otherwise, you are being seen as an incapable student. So, you already being claimed as an incapable student, YET you show your lecturer that he/she is right because you give up your work and behave foolishly. So what will the lecturer think of you more? You’re childish, say you few words you act like this, give up. .

“WHEN YOU GIVE UP YOURSELF, PEOPLE GIVE UP YOU”

So please think for yourself, is it correct to act according to the feeling which is discouragement.

What is actually happens?

Nothing is happening, is just that your lecturer/boss thinks that you could do better, that’s why you are being rejected. Lecturer /boss tent to see things that you could not see, they know what you can do more and what you are able to produce. They know this is not your level and they want more from you, that’s why they reject you NOW. Wanting you to do better in your work is for your OWN GOOD, right. Think of it, why does someone want you to do better in your work? They could just ignore you and approve everything, even though they see that your work is sucks, they can just say OK to you, if that makes you happy and if that’s what you want….but is it what you want? Or you want to do better?

And think of it, why we have to show our sketches or ideas to lecturer/boss before we proceed to final? Because you want to make it better that’s why you show it to someone who knows more than you, right? If not you can just finish your work and submit, but why you feel being let down or discourage when you are being rejected? Can’t you accept critics or comment on your work? Wow,,, so HIGH level ah,,,,cannot take critics from lecturer/boss? Then you live in your own world whereby no one rejects you. Think of it . .!

Sometimes you could be rejected 3 to 4 times, sometimes until the lecturer/boss give up and just tells you what to do. Of course this is other topic, we’re not into this now. The point is, when lecturer/boss rejects you, is because they know you can do better than THIS, that’s it. Of course there are rare cases that CHEAP lecturer/boss tent to go against a particular student, that is personal problem and stupid lah..im not going to talk about that here.

What should you be doing then ?

Very simple, disagree it and always prove that HIS statement is wrong. Prove that you are a person who is capable and motivated, hardworking and successful.

Imagine, you want to leave this place that leaving your lecturer/boss still thinking that you are a useless person? Of course you might say, , , “ there are things that can’t be explain, let him think who I am, is his brain “ NO…no..no…..wrong wrong wrong. Never think of this if you haven’t even tried to make him wrong, without even giving you a chance to improve you already agree with HIM, then you are wrong.

It depends on WHO is putting the statement on you, YOU should know it for yourself. Who is able to guide you and teach you,, who is not able,,I believe you yourself should know. Now the biggest mistake you do is when you are letting the person whom you know can teach and guide you to think that you are useless, that’s the mistake you ever do. If you prefer to ignore it, then you are surely useless.

Never let people claim that you are useless, neither professionals nor person whom you think is useless. Imagine, if someone you think is USELESS claims that you are useless, and you never prove to him to shut his mouth up, then let me ask you, who you are then? You are a person who is CLAIMED useless by a useless person. J wow.. .

NOW, this is what you should do, when your lecturer/boss think that you are useless, then you should do it better next time, if the next time still not ok,,,then do it better again, until ONE DAY,,,they say.. you are GREAT, you prove that you can do it. GOOD. How about that statement ??? great right ? no matter who is saying, the point is, IN YOUR LIFE, we always show that we CAN. Specially to those who we KNOW we should pay our respect ON.

I know this feeling, because I faced it before, and it is really not comfortable, and it took me 1 year to prove it, until ONE day I heard “ YOU PROVED IT TO ME THAT YOU CAN “ I tell you, this feeling is really indescribable.

So remember, every time when you are rejected from your work, don’t feel discourage, just tell him in your heart, ONE DAY I WILL MAKE YOU SAY “ wow . . . you’re good “

Personal talk : to those student whom I’ve ever said “ GOOD “ or disbelieve that this work is actually produce by you…remember? Recall…recall…. If I’ve ever done this to you, then I tell you now,,,, that is the moment I feel you IMPROVED and you’ve showed to me YOU CAN. . ok.

NOTE** - be sure that everytime you know why and what's the reason the particular lecturer/boss rejects your work. THIS IS THE most important thing to know, but not being rejected without knowing why. MUST ask,,,,what happen and why he rejects it.

- There is some cheap lecturer that really does reject student without reason or maybe just because him/herself doesn't like the particular student. In that case, i can only say " ACCEPT your LIFE " . " 认命" .you are unfortunately being thought by cheap lecturer.
